My corner on the web to tell my friends about the latest Apps and Web stuff I care about, since I'm tired of mailing my buddies when I come across something I think they might like.

Life is good with the origina coverflow

Yes, life is good...

The original Coverflow was a lot better then the iTunes implementation of it. It at least was able to play in full screen mode.

Originally I had a date limited version of it that no longer played. I checked the original site and it no longer had any downloads available. But....

life is good, as I mentioned and thanks to there is still is a working, non date restricted version downloadable here.

Octiv taking their sweet ass time....

As of today Volume Logic"> still isn't working right with iTunes 7.

Can't remember the exact date of the iTunes 7.0 release but it definately has been several weeks, which in 2006, is borderline ridiculous. I've seen some workarounds posted using some other Audio tools, but they had to be manually restarted everytime you started iTunes again. That just aint a workaround.

Most irritating is that they don't have RSS or other ways to notify me when they've got the bugger fixed. I have to go back and check every several days... which is a BIG THUMBS DOWN for Octive..

My alltime favortire hip-hop tracks

1 - Dr. Dre - Still DRE
2 - Snoop Dogg - Snoopafella
3 - Jay-Z - 99 problems
4 - Kanye West - Golddigger
5 - Nas - Get Down

I'm a sucker for new appz. I'll try just about anything and most of the times I end up deleting them since I often either have something better or just can't see the point of an App. This is not the case with Tangerine!.

Using my Nano for running mostly this app is the missing link. Just as coverflow was (which by the way in its previous incarnation was better then Apple's implementation of it) this ought to be integrated in iTunes with a refresh option similar to shuffle.

The App basically goes through your tracks, analyses the beats per minute and beat intensity (I'm not sure I understand the difference) and allows you to create playlists based on them.

The brilliance however is in the fact that you can create non-linear playlists with changing BPM characteristics like Single Hill, double hill or random. So you can start your workout easy and then work-up to a higher intensity BPM and then finish on a softer BPM for your cooldown.

Thumbs up for these guys and I hope Apple will be generous when snapping them boys up!!!

Why is this Keynote (inconvenient truth) not a Free Bittorrent download?

This is a very important story that must be seen by as many people as possible. Therefore I think that if Al Gore is really serious about this, which he is, he should make this a free bittorrent download. At the very least the keynote slides and background information could be made available to bloggers world wide. We should start an email petition

iTunes 7 plugin not working

I love the new iTunes & Volume Logic plugin, but its not working with iTunes 7. It took Octiv a aweful longtime to even post that information on their website, but they have my email adres? Why not just notify me when the fix is ready, or use RSS. Now I have to go back and check their website to see if the fix for the product I paid for is ready!
